Our Pastor

Dr Stephen Andrew Missick
Dr Missick is the pastor of King of Saints Tabernacle. He is an ordained minister of the gospel and has served over 20 years in the military and has served as a Chaplain in the National Guard.
He graduated from Sam Houston State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Missick has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and has lived among the Coptic Christians in Egypt and Aramaic Christians in Syria. Before his serving in the chaplaincy, he also served as a soldier in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and 2004. Stephen was deployed as a Chaplain in Iraq in 2009 and 2010.
While serving as a soldier in Iraq he learned Aramaic from native Aramaic-speaking Iraqi Assyrian Christians. He also participated in an archeological excavation of Bethsaida in Galilee in 2011 and went on a missionary trip to Uganda in 2012
He is the author of several books including "The Words of Jesus in the Original Aramaic," "The Saint Jude Thaddeus Storybook," and many, many others. A complete list can be found on the Books page of this website.
Stephen Andrew Missick is the author of many journal articles, including "The Assyrian Church in the Mongol Empire", "Mar Thoma: The Apostolic Foundation of the Assyrian Church in India", and "Socotra: The Mysterious Island of the Church of the East" which were published in the Journal of Assyrian Academic Studies (Volume XIII, No. 2, 1999, Volume XIV, No. 2, 2000 and Volume XVI No. 1, 2002).
Our Minister of Music

Jonathan Cooney
Jonathan is an ordained Minister of Music and our acting Cantor.
He has been involved in Messianic faith for over twenty years. Jonathan has spent many hours in the deep study of the Torah and its principals.
Growing up in a large family of musicians, music has always been an important component in his life.
Jonathan has served professionally and non-professionally in congregations as a soloist, leader of congregational hymns, choir director, worship flow coordinator, and leader of praise and worship music
Our Deacon

Brandon Taylor
Brandon assists in services at King of Saints. He is a trusted and loyal part of our worship service. He is grounded in scripture. Brandon assists at every opportunity. Whenever a need arises in any part of the service he eagerly steps in to assist in any way he can. We are grateful Brandon is part of our congregation. In 2022 he was ordained as a deacon of our King of Saints congragation.
Our Deacon

Terry Moore
Terry has been part of the King of Saints congregation since his childhood. He is faithfully discharging the duties of building and grounds maintenance. He has been serving in this capacity for some time and was recently ordained as a deacon. We appreciate his years of valuable contribution to our fellowship.
